what about us?
The House of Fun is filled with mirrors,
Mirrors showing every truth.
In one you look short and in one you look tall.
In another you look like the queen of the ball.
And in one you look like it’s impossible to fall.
Oh, you have it all.
And you don’t regret your past,
Look forward to what’s to come
And when someone asks,
You say, “I’ll have more and then some.
I'm not on a diet.”
Some people act like they don’t know what to do.
Some act like they never knew.
I’m not too sure about me,
What about you?
The House of Doom has got mirrors,
Mirrors showing every truth.
In one you look pale and in one you look frail.
In another you look like there's only tall tales.
And in another not even the kissing booth
Can put wind in your sail.
And you’ve seen enough,
The future is your past.
It’s been too rough
Filled with swords and iron masks
And when someone asks,
You say, “I’m feeling pretty full, no thanks,
Besides I’m on a diet.”
Some people act like they don’t know what to do.
Some act like they never knew.
I’m not too sure about me,
What about you?
The House of Fun, the House of Doom,
I do believe it's much too soon
To say which houses the maniac buffoon
And which our reflections seen as cartoons.
Is it all a spoof with time come undone
Where you keep all you think you've won?
And not to worry, not to fret
It is a no risk bet,
All we did beget remembers to forget.
Some people act like they don’t know what to do.
Some act like they never knew.
I’m not too sure about me,
What about you?
